Another model image taken in Natural light. The wastage ratio is very high compared to the more controlled environment of a studio because of the very variable lighting.

Cloud acts like a soft box

Cloud helps soften the light and allows for a more gentle and ambient feel to the image. You do not need bright clear days for natural light images!

This photograph was taken of the model in an outdoor location shoot. The conditions were interesting and challenging for my-self and the model, who worked very hard in cool conditions!

Due to the cloud the light levels were changing very quivkly, throwing camera settings out every 2 mins or so. I have adjusted the sky to make it slighty grainy to bring the model into the fore ground making her stand out of the page.
